Luton teenager charged after police recover stolen motorbike

Two teenagers have been charged after police recovered a stolen motorbike in Leighton Buzzard on Saturday, September 12.

Following reports of a motorbike being ridden around the Leighton Town area officers were alerted to three youths with said bike in Grove Road.

After a foot chase through the cricket field and river, two of them were arrested and the stolen bike was recovered.

A 16-year-old boy from Luton and an 18-year-old man from Leighton Buzzard have been charged with theft of motor vehicle.

Both have been bailed pending a further court appearance on 29 October.
